Former New Jersey resident Lilka M., 63, died Sep. 11, 2012, at her home in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Viewing will be held on Saturday Sep. 15, 2012 from 10.30 am to 2.00 pm at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home 2124 East St. George Avenue in Linden, New Jersey. A memorial service to follow at 3.00 pm at St. Casimir's R.C. Church in Newark, New Jersey. Burial services will take place in Poland.
Lilka was born on Oct. 2, 1948 in Poland, to Antoni and Jadwiga Czajkowski.
Lilka's life would seem too short to many but she gave us all courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.
She devoted much of her time and energy to family members, including her children, beloved grandchildren and mother. She loved to dance and travel.
Lilka is survived by her mother: Jadwiga Czajkowska; brother: Andrzej Czajkowski; sisters: Teresa Kowalski and Irena Jaworowski; 2 sons and their spouses: Andrzej and Anna Matys, Piotr and Renata Matys and 2 grandchildren: Bartek and Ola Matys.
